Contest Rules

Please note that individual contests may have additional or updated rules.

  1. No purchase necessary.
  2. Void where prohibited by local or state laws.
  3. Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes which may be payable due to receipt of prize.
  4. Golden Isles Broadcasting, LLC and its subsidiaries Magic 105.9, 104.1 the Wave, and 92.7 SSI, reserve the right to cancel promotions at any time. All prize award decisions are final. The decisions of Golden Isles Broadcasting, LLC, Magic 105.9, 104.1 the Wave, and 92.7 SSI are final. Rules may be changed at any time during contest.
  5. Winners must agree to release and hold harmless Golden Isles Broadcasting, LLC, Magic 105.9, 104.1 the Wave, 92.7 SSI, and its affiliates, agencies, advertisers, sponsors, licensees, and immediate families from claims, liabilities, or legal actions which may arise as a result of winning a prize in the contest.
  6. Employees, agencies, representatives, affiliates, and immediate families of Golden Isles Broadcasting, LLC, Magic 105.9, 104.1 the Wave, or 92.7 SSI, and any official contest/promotion participant, and employees of other radio stations licensed to communities in the same market are not eligible.
  7. Prizes may not be exchanged, substituted, transferred, or redeemed for other prizes by winner. Prizes are non-transferable, and CAN NOT BE MAILED. Cash will not be awarded as a substitute for prize.
  8. To be eligible to win, each winner will be required to sign a release giving Golden Isles Broadcasting, LLC, Magic 105.9, 104.1 the Wave, and 92.7 SSI, permission to use his or her name, picture, portrait, likeness and voice for publicity purposes connected with this promotion without additional compensation. Winners will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility and release as a condition of winning. Where applicable, tax forms must be completed.
  9. Winners must present a photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc.) before prize will be distributed. All insurance costs are the responsibility of the winner.
  10. Prizes must be claimed at 185 Benedict Road, Brunswick, GA 31520 during normal business hours Monday thru Friday, 9am to 5pm (excluding holidays) and must be claimed within (30) days. PRIZES CAN NOT BE MAILED.
  11. Prizes not claimed in 30 days will be forfeited by winner.
  12. By entering, entrant agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Golden Isles Broadcasting, LLC, Magic 105.9, 104.1 the Wave, and/or 92.7 SSI, and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, governors, employees, and agents against all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of either (I) entrant’s participation, or (II) the receipt or use of the prize awarded in the promotion.
  13. Golden Isles Broadcasting, LLC, Magic 105.9, 104.1 the Wave, or 92.7 SSI, is not responsible in the event of any technical difficulties with any equipment, including telephone equipment, during all contests. If the call becomes disconnected, Magic 105.9, 104.1 the Wave, and/or 92.7 SSI, reserves the right to move on to the next caller.
  14. Golden Isles Broadcasting, LLC, Magic 105.9, 104.1 the Wave, and 92.7 SSI are not responsible for any events beyond their control (acts of God, cancelled concerts, artist or performer non-appearance, etc.).
  15. Contest rules may vary with individual contests.
  16. For a list of prize winners, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to “Contest Winners,” Golden Isles Broadcasting, 185 Benedict Road, Brunswick, GA 31520. Specify station and contest when writing.

For contests with prizes valued at $50 or over:

  1. Winning households are ineligible to win another prize valued at $50 or over on the station for thirty (30) days.
  2. One winner per contest per household.
  3. Contests are open only to Georgia residents.
